biography:

• Attended a dojo specializing in duel technique for most of her childhood. As a result of both the intensive training and her natural talent, she’s an excellent duelist, but not particularly close to her family.
• Spent her high school career winning so consistently that she earned the title “Kaiserin” and became known as one third of Duel Academy’s “Genius Trio”.
• Moved from DA to a Pro League career. Her dueling style emphasized restraint and respect that controlled the power of the dojo’s Cyber deck.
• Lost to Ed Phoenix — the first loss of her adult life — and entered a downward spiral that resulted in ten consecutive losses to progressively weaker opponents, her demotion from the Pro Leagues into the minor leagues, and eventually her rejection by her sponsor and resultant drop out of the official dueling leagues in general.
• Shortly after her tenth loss, Kaiserin entered a ████████ with ███████████ ████████ ”██████ ████████”. This led to her █████████ into ███████████ ███████ and a ██████ as a ████.
• Returned to the Pro Leagues as “Hell Kaiserin Ryoko”, abandoning her former philosophy of respect. Now runs Cyberdark Dragons.
• Participated in the GeneX tournament, though she dropped out halfway through due to her perception of a lack of talent.
